Question:

Hello - Due to the inward slope of the side of my car, I worry that I will not get the right length of cross bar. What is the best way to measure width of the car - flush roof rails to side view mirror? I know the estimated distance is 4-8 inches, but not sure what length cross bars to get. Demo videos show flat sided cars. Thanks

In order to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 on your 2016 Audi Q3 you need to have crossbars that extend 4"-8" past the feet of the roof rack. With the slope of your car, you would just want to be closer to the 8" side of that. Just measure the distance between the points on your roof where the feet will be installed and add 16" (8" to each side) then select the crossbars closest to that measurement.
