Installation of Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime

Question:
U-haul states they cannot do the install and Toyota tells me it will cost $600 as it needs the bumper to be removed and cut into. Is there a simpler and cheaper solution?

Sorry to hear you're having trouble adding a hitch to your 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime. If you're planning to install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13416 you have 2 different options. The first is to install it yourself. We have installation videos you can follow, along with the written instructions for this process. It is a fairly simple installation which we give it a 4 out of 10 for difficulty and an estimated time of 40 minutes. Also, no cutting of the bumper is required.
The other option would be to check with local installers. See the link below which will allow you to find shops based on your location that could install the hitch for you. This will make it easier to find and compare different options for installation which will hopefully result in a more cost effective solution.
