Question:
I am installing the Curt 59236 on my 2025 Kia Carnival. I watched your video a few times and I have the same wires for the driver side which is to connect the green/black wire to the brown harness wire and the green/orange wire to the yellow harness wire. When I go to the passenger side to connect the green wire, the video says to connect the green/orange wire to the green harness wire. I cannot find the green/orange wire. I see the green/black wire and then a solid green wire coming off of the tail light. Am I just not seeing it or could it possibly be a different color wire?? Thank you so much! The video is very informative and has helped me a ton!

Hey Roy, thanks for reaching out!
Vehicle wiring can be a bit confusing to deal with at times because manufacturers will sometimes mix and match wiring based off of what they have available - which is what I think you're experiencing now.
To get the Curt Wiring # C59236 hooked up to the correct circuit on your 2025 Kia Carnival you'll want to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2992 to check which wire has the function you're needing. I unfortunately don't have a wiring diagram otherwise I'd tell you exactly which wire you need to connect to.

Hey Roy, were you able to test the wires on your Carnival with the circuit tester to find the correct one for the Curt wiring? Knowing which wire matched the right function could really help others working on the same setup. Your update could make it easier for the next person with this wiring mix-up.
