Question:

I have a Kubota M7060 tractor. It has a 7 pin round outlet in the rear for connecting agriculture equipment. I would like connect a dump trailer that has a 7 pin flat. Can you recommend a product to do that? It would be good if it was a couple feet long if available because I don’t think the trailer wire is long enough t to reach the back of the tractor where the outlet is.

The Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47425 is the longest adapter we have that will fit your Kubota M7060 tractor and allow you to connect to your trailer. At 14-1/2" long I don't think this will be long enough based on what you said. Also, your 7-round plug is going to have brake light and turn signals wired separately, so an adapter like this won't work on its own. However, it is possible to make your own custom adapter.

For the adapter you will need the # PK12-707E, # PK11700, and # DW04914-1. The two different connectors will need to be installed on either end of the Deka wire. The wire is sold by the foot so you can get however much you need to reach the back of the tractor. In order to solve the problem of your tractor brake light and turn signals being wired separately, you will also need to wire in the Hopkins Tail Light Converter # HM48847.
