Im looking for a hitch lock to put on a 1974 airstream trailer. The way its made, most locks are not big enough to fit around the sides. Can you tell me the clear span in between the vertical portions of the u-shapedinch metal bar?

The 1/2" Trimax Dual Purpose Coupler Lock # TMX77FR measures 4" across to the U-Shaped locking pin.
We also have the 9/16" Trimax Dual Purpose Coupler Lock # TMX67FR and Trimax Dual Purpose Coupler Lock with Ballistic Grade Nylon Housing # TMX47FR that are both 4-1/2" across.
