Brake Controller Recommendation to be Compatible with Dexter Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator

Will a Primus controller work with this unit. I tried putting blue on positive and white neg on battery. It only hums same as when brakes are applied. When I plug blk and blue to pos and white neg. The unit engages. Any suggestions? Thanks

You will need a brake controller that is designed to work with electric-over-hydraulic brakes like the Prodigy P2 part # 90885. The Primus part # TK90160 that you referenced will not work with electric-over-hydraulic brakes and that is why your setup is not working properly.

That's a very good question, we tend to be extra cautious and say to use 10 gauge wire because that would be more than enough. When you get into longer trailers that will end up using a lot of wire the heavier gauge wire becomes more necessary.…
