How to Connect Lance Wiring to 2020 Ford F-350 Wiring Socket
Updated 06/20/2022 | Published 06/17/2022 >
Question:
I have a new 2020 F350 and a 2015 Lance 825 that I want to use. The manual says I have a six wire connector, but the Lance plug has seven holes one blank?. Whats the best way to connect the camper to my F350 so I can run lights and the refrigerater. Do I need to connect the got wire directly to the battery wire? Or do I contact Lance, which has been a pain for me in the past.

Your 2020 Ford F-350 Super Duty should have a fully-functioning 7-Way (there should be 6 pins and 1 center plug) with the 12V power active. If this isn't active then you might need to check your fuses.
From my understanding Lance likes to make their wiring difficult for whatever reason so I recommend cutting off your Lance trailer connector and replacing it with the Hopkins # H20046 which will match right up to your F-350 7-Way. Please note you'll want to make your wiring connections per function and not per wire color.
Attached is an installation video and a photo of the different wire colors per function for you to reference.
