Crossbar Recommendations for a 2015 Jayco 1207HD Jay Series with Factory Tracks

Question:
I have a 2015 Jayco 1207UD Jay Series tent trailer with OEM channel-rails along the edges of the roof. I was wondering what bars would work well with the preinstalled channel-rails without having to buy a whole kit?

From the sounds of your question, it sounds like you have factory track OEM rails on the roof of your 2015 Jayco 1207UD Say Series camper. If this is the case, I recommend the following parts:
- Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Factory Tracks - 2 Vortex Aero Crossbars 54" Long # Y02-480B-NT (black) or # Y02-480-NT (silver)
With these options, you receive the benefits of an extremely dynamic crossbar setup. This leads to a quieter ride and increased fuel efficiency. The quick mount legs will connect perfectly into your tracks.
In order to determine what size you need, it depends on how far apart your tracks are. To get the measurement you need, you need to measure the distance between tracks (from center on center). From that distance, subtract that from either 54" or 59". As long as those options are within 11.8", you can choose that crossbar length. The reason for this is because the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero bars have finite bottom channels that extend 11.8" from both ends. I went ahead and attached a diagram that shows this channel length.
