Question:
I have 93 chevy p30 stepvan that needs a hitch . Would the step be a problem for hitch installation? I have turned the truck into a food truck and need to pull my smoker.

I do have a solution for you, but it will not involve a custom fit trailer hitch. The Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs, 22" to 72" Wide. part # 13703, is an adjustable universal hitch. It can fit frames from 22" to 72" in width. It comes with all the hardware you need to bolt it to your vehicle's frame, which requires drilling. It can also be welded to your frame. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs.
