We have an Outback travel trailer. Will this product keep the door from the wind catching it and slamming it open or closed?

Expert Reply:
The Replacement Controlled Motion Hinge # LC95VR will still allow the door to move but it will be more restricted in its movement. The hinge adds friction to the door so you are able to open it and leave it in different positions without moving in light winds or due to being on a hill. A strong enough wind will allow the door to move but it will not slam like you are used to having.
A Door Holder # 37211785 will allow you to latch the door at a 90 degree angle and prevent it from slamming open or closed. You will have to remember to latch the door when open and unlatch the door when you go to close it.
