We always recommend that you refer to your vehicle specific owners manual for confirmation of a specific vehicle model and trim package can be safely flat towed. The vehicle's OEM is the authority on capability of what they built. To flat tow your 2022 Chevy Spark ACTIV, you will need 5 basic components. These are base plates, tow bar and safety cables, wiring for indicator lights, and supplemental braking.
- Base Plate, Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1725
- Tow Bar, Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380 (includes needed safety cables)
- Wiring Kit, Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles, # RM-152-LED
- Supplemental Braking System, Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # DM86VR
