I found a response from from someone about a different wiring diagram for the tail light kit can someone please shead a little light on this

I believe you are talking about the diagrams that are lower on the product page, below the description and specs, for # RM-154. There are 4 of these diagrams. I have included a picture that shows them all for you. Please note that the diode kit is not recommended if your 2015 Ford Edge has LED tail lights. I have included a link to a video showing an example installation for you.

If your Edge has LED lights I recommend Roadmaster # RM-2120 which will bypass the factory wiring so you won't have to splice into any tail light wiring.
