Can the BandW hitch be used with a bed rug thats 3/4 inch thick?

Yes, you can install the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1020 with the BedRug Custom Truck Bed Mat # BR44FR on your 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 with the 6-3/4' bed. You will need to make cutouts in the BedRug though for access to the gooseneck receiver and the safety chain loops.
If the ultimate plan is to use the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3400-5W this is still possible but you'll likely need to make cutouts for the rubber feet on the bottom of this hitch too so it sits level.
Personally I like to recommend that people go with a spray-in liner for in-bed towing but the BedRug is a viable option as long as you're okay with making the cutouts.
