Hitch or Trunk Rack Bike Rack Recommendation for 2018 Toyota RAV4

Hello, I have a 2018 Toyota RAV4 Limited Edition not hybrid. I am looking for the best way to attach a bike rack. A dealer I spoke with yesterday advised that they use your brand and provided the model 13149 as they have the customer purchase it. I saw some reviews online saying that this did not fit for some. Will you confirm that this is the correct model? On your site I saw that you have a 3-bike bike rack Saris Bones Ex? that attaches to the back. Is this compatible with my vehicle? Do you recommend one way over the other? Thank you for your assistance

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13149 will fit your 2018 Toyota RAV4 Limited Edition and is a great way to carry your bikes.
The Saris Bones EX 3 Bike Rack # SA803 will also fit your RAV4 but I only recommend going that route if you plan on carrying your bikes only a few times a year.
If you choose to use the trailer hitch but you like the design of the Saris Bones then you can use the Saris Bones Hitch Bike Rack for 3 Bikes # SA883 for the best of both worlds.
Please note that you'll need an adapter bar like part # SA3040 if you have any kid's bikes or a bike that doesn't have a top tube to keep it level and promote ground clearance.
