At the rear of a trailer the ride quality is much rougher than at the rear of a vehicle due to the less sophisticated suspension and the very long distance from the axle and the rear of the trailer which exaggerates the movements.
The most similar two bike platform rack that is rated for use at the rear of a fifth wheel is the Hollywood Racks RV Rider part # HLY64FR which has been reinforced for it.
