Will 2022 Honda Pilot etrailer Hitch Fit With Hands-Free Liftgate Function?

Question:
Is this going to mess with my hands-free hatch function on my 2022 Pilot? I need a hitch for a bike rack but it would suck to lose that function when that's one of the reasons I got this model...

It is possible that the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98840 will affect the lift-gate sensors on your 2022 Honda Pilot, but we haven't heard anything about this completely voiding their use. Best case scenario is that you'll be able to get the sensor to work by kicking to either side of the receiver, worst case scenario is needing to pick up a sensor relocator kit from your local Honda dealer. This will be the case with any trailer hitch for your vehicle.
If you don't already have a bike rack you might be interested in the Curt Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # C89JR as it is compatible with a wide variety of bike style dues to the 65 lb per bike weight rating, 4" max tire rating, and 20" - 29" wheel diameter range. This comes with integrated bike and rack locks as well as an anti-rattle knob at the front of the rack and a good-sized lever for tilting and folding the rack.
I'm attaching videos for the hitch and bike rack for you to check out.
