Question:
Hi Scott, Thanks for telling me how to determine which model my Hullivator is. I now realize I have a little of both models. My Hullivator is the older model. About 2 years ago I damaged one of the arms entering a covered garage. The person who helped me fix it, split the arm from the newer model to replace the damaged one. The forward arm has a black cradle on top and a silver one on the bottom. That arm holds the bow of my kayak very well. However the rear arm with a silver cradle on top and a black cradle on the bottom does not hold it well. The silver cradle hugs it well but the bottom black one not so much. Any suggestions?

The Replacement Cradle Assembly for Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # 7521772001 is the correct replacement bottom cradle for a Thule Hullavator Pro.
The Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # TH898 has been out for more than 6 years and is more than likely the Hullavator that you have. There was a previous Hullavator XT but it was discontinued and replaced by the Pro. There is an easy way for you to tell if you have the Pro or XT. The bars on the Replacement Cradle Assembly for Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier # 7521772001 are black for the Pro and they are silver if you have the XT.
