Question:
I tow a 30’ travel trailer with weight distribution and a 5 ton dump trailer without Weight distribution and this is where I get a little not much sag. I do a lot of fishing and hunting trips without a trailer so don’t want to compromise normal ride comfort . Thanks

I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2598 for your 2021 Ram 2500. Firestone is known for their quality and construction which is a step above Air Lift. These air bags will prevent sag and improve ride quality. You will also be able to let the air out to the minimum psi when not towing or hauling so there will be no impact on ride quality.
They have 4 layers of reinforced rubber and use a braided wire girdle to create a double-convoluted shape that increases burst pressure. They also use metal end plates with a time-proven, rolled crimp seal that keeps the bags securely anchored. These have a load leveling capacity of 5,000 lbs and are made in the USA.
I also recommend adding an air compressor like the Firestone Air Command II # F2219. This will allow you to control the pressure in the air bags at any time from the cab of your truck without having to locate an air compressor. This is a dual path system which would allow you to control the pressure of each bag individually or both air bags together.
I have attached some installation videos for your reference.

I drive a 2023 Ram 2500 Cummins 4x4 Laramie . I tow a 30’ cargo trailer 50,000 miles a year. Mostly across I-20 & I-40 from Texas to California. The highways are goat trails with ruts running a mile long or 6” deep pot holes by the dozen. Speed limit 75 mph. I currently run stock shocks and struts due to warranty. But they don’t last 3,000 miles. I need something that can handle the abuse. Any ideas?
