Question:
Im interested in using brophy tie downs on my 2019 Toyota Tacoma with a Four Wheel Camper. Is there an option that would work well? Thanks.

Expert Reply:
While the Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs, # HSBP are not confirmed to fit the Toyota Tacoma due to the construction/material of truck bed, we do have an option that works for most slide-in truck campers. I suggest the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs, for a 2019 year model, use:
- Front Tie-Down, # TLT2303
- Rear, Tie Down, # TLT3307
This frame-mounted design ensures excellent handling in securing the truck camper to truck's base instead of its bed; this better distributes the weight. And when you remove the truck camper, the tie-downs are virtually undetectable because they can be easily removed from frame-mounted receiver bracket by simply pulling a pin.
