Can Regular Hose Clamp be Used for Check/Vacuum Breaker Hose Leak

Question:
The female adaptor connecting to the bottom of the check valve leaks at the hose fitting to the adaptor. Can I use a regular hose clamp to redo the hose to adaptor connection? Bottom line Can I replace a PEX clamp with a hose clamp?

Yes, you can use a regular hose clamp so your hose has a better connection to the Check Valve/Vacuum Breaker # A10-3050. The thing you need to watch out for though is that you don't tighten the clamp too hard and break the connector the hose is attached to because then you'll definitely have more leaks.
