Im replacing dump cables. If I can get away with it would 36inch work smoother

The straighter and shorter you can make the dump cables they smoother they will operate to a certain extent. So if you can get away with the shorter 36 inch long cable version part # 34466N4AB36GM instead of the # 34466N11AB72GMA that you referenced this would work well.
