Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today I'm gonna take a look at this replacement check valve vacuum breaker for your factory RV tank flushing systems. Now this part right here will replace the check valve vacuum breaker on your factory RV tank flushing system. Basically when you're flushing your RV tank this valve will help protect your fresh water supply from contamination. You can see it has a nice clear construction to let you see that it is working.
And the fittings on this are two half inch MPT size fittings. But that should do it for the review on this replacement check valve vacuum breaker for your factory RV tank flushing systems..
Installed this about a year ago after our original failed after only three moths after we purchased our new travel trailer. This has worked flawlessly and was super easy to install.
Worked perfect, and no leaks at the top of the valve.

Recently installed this a replacement in our travel trailer for one (which was an original manufactured replacement part) This is our third try so the test will be the test of time and function. The installation instructions didn't mention the need for recovering and reinstalling a rubber gasket on the inlet side of this part. Otherwise it went in easily and appears to working correctly. Like that you can see through this part for function analysis.
It simply has done its job all year. This check valve replaced a similar one on my tank flush line that leaked water across the bathroom floor whenever we flushed our tank. This one has operated for a year, without a problem. We are full time campers.

Still working. I have been living full time in it for over 2 years so it gets plenty of use.
My old valve failed open so every time I tried to backflush the black tank, water would flood my bathroom from under the sink. It was a disaster trying to find the source because by the time you would get around the rv into the bathroom there would be a river to clean up. Thankfully all clean water at least.
This was a direct replacement with no modifications needed. I love that it is clear so I can check the valve operation prior to use every time to make sure there are no further flooding surprises.
At least it was clean water instead of the alternative....
I thought I was going to have a hard time finding this part for my camper, so I jump on-line at etrailer.com and low and behold they had the part. It can quickly, so I was able to make repair and get back to camping.........
Speedy arrival, Just remove old valve and replace with this one, make sure the original rubber washer seals are in the the fittings when you screw the original
piping to the valve. Original piping fits to the valve. Works good no leaks. etrailer

Haven't installed it yet ,but seems to be heavier built than the standard vacuum breaker valve that comes standard on our rvs. Great customer service & fast shipping from e trailer.
The stock Camco valve leaked day one. While it was under warranty, travel to and from the dealer plus a recent review led me to buy a “real one” from etrailer.

Just got around to installing it, to replace the one that came with my travel trailer, which is one month old and manufacturer had set me a replacement, the original and replacement both leak and were very noisy. This one is totally quiet and does not leak!
