Will Valterra Cable Work on a Bristol Dump Valve

Question:
I have a stuck cable on my Balck Tank Valve which is a Bristol Valve. I heard Valterra cable is a solid cable compared to the twisted cable of Bristol. Are the 2 cables interchangeable where I can hook the Valterra cable to the Bristol Valve body? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Valterra who said that the Valterra Waste Valve Body # TC372 would be able to replace the Bristol Valve body that you currently have installed but that they haven't tested their cable kits like part # TC72PB with Bristol Valve so she wouldn't be able to confirm whether or not it would fit.

No. Not the cable but you can change out a 3 inch valve for another brand whereas a1 1/2" Valterra valves aren't compatible LaSalle Bristol Brand . None of the cables are compatible with a different brand valve.
