How To Adjust The Arms Of Rock Tamers Mud Flaps For More Bumper Clearance

Question:
I have an after market Buck Stop brand rear bumper and use a load equalizer hitch to tow my travel trailer. Will the Rock Tamer or the Rock Star adjust for my application?

Expert Reply:
From what you're asking I'm assuming that the bumper is sticking out a bit more and potentially blocking the arms of the Rock Tamers Heavy-Duty, Adjustable Mud Flap System # ERT00110. I had one pulled from the warehouse and was able to determine that the bolt that hold the arms onto the hub can be loosened to adjust the arms away from the bumper, giving you more clearance. I do want to note that moving the arms forward will have the mud flaps sit lower to the ground so you may have to trim them to prevent them from dragging.
