Can this light be used as a brake/signal, running and backup light? Looking to replace the two oval incandescent lights on the back of my Eagle boat trailer.

Expert Reply:
The Optronics # BUL602CRB is a 2-function lamp, taillight and back up lamp so it won't function in the fashion you're wanting. The good news is that we have a grommet mount lamp that will provide stop/turn, taillight and back up lamp functions, part # STL211RB. If the existing lamp is a 6-1/2 x 2-1/2, this would make a great replacement. If the lamp has been in place for a number of years, you'll want to replace the grommet as well. We offer them as part # A70GB.
You'll also need a 2 wire # A45CB and a 3 wire # A45PB pigtail.
