This oval LED light instantly gives your trailer or truck a sleek, modern look. The red “X” center glows for the tail light, while the surrounding white LEDs kick on for reverse, giving both style and function in one unit. With 12 LEDs total, it’s far brighter and more efficient than old incandescent bulbs and draws only 0.381 amps at 12.8V. The clear lens lets both colors shine bright for easy visibility.
If you’re running a boat trailer or driving through rain and slush, this light can handle it. The polycarbonate lens and housing are sealed tight to keep water out, making it fully waterproof and submersible. You won’t have to worry about fogged lenses or corroded wiring—the LEDs stay dry and reliable no matter how wet the conditions get.
Wiring doesn’t get easier than this. The light uses a standard 3-prong PL-3 connector that works with common right-angle or straight pigtails (sold separately). Just plug it in to your existing trailer harness and you’re ready to go—no custom adapters needed. It’s compatible with 12V DC systems, making it ready for most setups out of the box.
This light mounts flush using a grommet (A70GB – sold separately) for a clean, factory look that stays protected from bumps. If you’d rather not cut into a panel, you can use the optional BK70BB bracket with the same grommet for surface mounting. Either way, the 6-1/2" long by 2-3/8" tall size fits neatly into standard oval light openings.
You can count on this light meeting all required standards—it’s DOT compliant and meets FMVSS 108 requirements. The durable build and lifetime limited warranty on the LEDs mean dependable performance mile after mile, without having to deal with bulbs burning out or moisture getting in.

It is certified for the backup light function in a two lamp system when a pair of lights are installed. Second light is sold separately.The light guide series features a smooth X shape across the face of the light, and it is sonically sealed so it features a waterproof housing and lens unit that is submersible. The unit features durable surface mount technology when it comes to the construction of the LED circuit board. That's designed to better withstand shock and vibration and it allows for improved heat distribution.This is a full LED system.
LED's make great replacements for incandescent lights. They last longer, they burn brighter and they're much more efficient. You don't have to worry about replacing bulbs and you don't have to worry about viral filaments with LED systems.It features the polycarbonate lens and housing. It's very strong and durable. It is a recessed mount installation with a mounting grommet.
Mounting grommet is sold separately and available at etrailer.com.Here on the backside, it will accept a three wire pigtail, so something like this right here would plug right into the back here and it will provide you with a white wire which would be your ground. Black which would be for supplemental tail light. Red would be for the backup light.This is Department of Transportation compliant. It meets FMVSS-108 requirements in any 360 degree position.Taking a look at the dimensions real quick, they we'll hook it up to power. Edge to edge measures about six and a half inches.
Top to bottom is about two and three eighths and the overall depth from the very front to the back of the plug is about one and three quarter inches deep. This portion here measures about one inch deep.We're going to go ahead and hook it up to power that way you can see what it looks like with some power running to it. We'll also be able to turn off our overhead light so you can see it in a lower light setting. So here you can see that taillight function and then when we apply the reverse button, you can see there that it shows what it would look like when your truck or trailer's in reverse. Really nice bright design.

The light is used on a boat trailer, and it is not completely sealed. It got water in it, and now it doesn't work any more.

I really like these.
The backup light puts out a LOT of light, which I am very greatful for. The tail light functions look pretty badass, and do a sufficient job of alerting people to stops and turns. I used them as a supplemental tail light (long skinny bar light mounted above to provide the main tail light functions) and wanted them primarily for backup. They are doing exactly what I wanted them to.
Look good installed. I had a large dent that I needed to deal with, so I cut it out. Wish the backup light was a little brighter, but they do what I wanted them to do. The red X are turn signals / brake lights.
The light do what I expected them to do, and they look good in the rear bumper of my silverado. I was a little disappointed that 1 of the 2 lights had several of the reverse leds go out. The lights were about 3 yrs old, but truck only had about 6k miles on it. Tow vehicle, not daily driver. New light was exact match. Thanks!
