Question:
I am using these T-bolts to install a flush mount ski rack to my thule wingbar evos. When doing this, do I need to remove the rubber strips in the middle of the bars or can the T-Bolts slide between the strips in place? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
On the Wingbar Evo crossbars like the part # TH711420 the top channel rubber strips basically push out of the way when installing accessories which means you don't have to remove any portion of the strip. This is true for the Thule Xadapt12 part # THXADAPT12 as well.
