For your application I recommend using the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D which helps to boost the power from your vehicle and is able to give your battery the best charge possible. To get this installed we have the Trailer Installation Kit # e79ZR which comes with all of the wiring, connectors, and fuses you need to get this properly installed.
You could charge your battery through the 7-Way with a 12V power wire ran from your F-150 battery but the problem with that is it just gives you a maintenance charge so it wouldn't increase the charge in your battery after you use it.
