the old scissor hinges are warping and do not keep lid open. do i need to replace both the front and the rear hinges with your yakima hinge or just one? are there different hinges for the front versus rear? thank you

Since you have the Yakima SkyBox 16 Roof Cargo Box # Y07335, you can use the Replacement Lid Support for Yakima Cargo Boxes # 8880683 for a replacement rear hinge.

You can use two of the Replacement Lid Support for Yakima Cargo Boxes # 8880683 to replace the front and rear hinges.

Yakima has rolled over their part numbers since that answer and replaced it with two hinges that work with all of their cargo boxes. For your Skybox 16, you'll just need two of part #8880683.
