Updated 08/22/2013 | Published 08/19/2013

Question:

I have a bantam trailer and need fenders. How do I measure so I order the right one. It has 16-6.00 tires on it. Any help will be appreciated.

I am not very familiar with the tire size 16-6.00, however, I am familiar with the older agricultural tire size 600 x 16. Typically, you will want to choose a fender based on the size of your wheel.

If you have 16 inch wheels, then we have 2 fenders that will fit that size. The etrailer Single-Axle Fenders, part # HP66VR, and part # HP46VR. The main difference between these two fenders is the width. Part # HP66VR has a width of 13 inches and part # HP46VR has a width of 10-3/4 inches.

Since your tires are likely around 6 inches wide, you may want to go with the 10-3/4 inch wide fender part # HP46VR.

If you have a different tire or wheel size, let me know the size of your wheel and the approximate width of your tire and I will be happy to make a more specific recommendation.
