You've got an old-school trailer that's still built better than most new ones out there, and you plan to keep it that way. This steel fender keeps that classic look, can be painted to match your rig, and it takes the abuse of rocks and salt.
You can weld the fenders to your trailer for a permanent setup that won't move or loosen over time. If you don't have a way to weld, bolt them on with brackets instead. That setup gets the job done without any welding gear and still gives you a strong, secure fit. Bolting also makes repairs and paint touch-ups easier later on.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this etrailer Single Axle Trailer Fender. Now, this is designed for your single axle trailers with 14-inch in diameter wheels. And let me go ahead and, before we go any further, give you some measurements of this fender just so you can know right up front if this is going to work for you or not. So looking at the overall length from end to end, we're sitting right at 29 inches wide.
If I said length, I meant width, 29 inches wide. And then looking at the depth, if I can set that up there so you can see, looks like we're sitting right at about 9 inches deep. Now, putting this back up here, lining that up there to my frame, looking at the overall height, right about 7 1/2 inches tall or so, maybe slightly higher than that, a little bit under 8. And this is gonna weigh a little over 6 pounds. So this curved fender is going to cover one tire on your single axle trailer and act as a splash guard, keeping road debris from hitting other vehicles and helping to protect your trailer's cargo.
This features a sturdy 16-gauge cold rolled steel construction. And this can be primed and then painted to provide resistance to corrosion and to match your trailer's paint finish. This will be a bolt-on or weld-on application, but this does not include any brackets or hardware. It's not pre-drilled, so you would have to take care of those things yourself. Great fit. Covers the wheels really well, makes the trailer look sharp. Although I did have to modifie the back sides a little bit to fit my trailer I would definitely order them again if anything happens to the ones I have on now. Also there not cheap and flimsy. These are good sturdy fenders.
I totally rebuilt my trailer from the ground up new paint and new sideboards new coupler new bearings and of course new fenders from etrailer really finished it off! The fenders painted up like nothing and look great!

Wow! etrailer has exceeded my expectations again. These fenders arrived in record time and were exactly what I needed to restore my old utility trailer that my father constructed in the 60's. After a rough fit I discovered that I needed to cut them to fit properly. No problem, with my jig saw and a metal blade they trimmed easily. Additional products were ordered for this restoration and all were perfect for the job.

I was real happy with the service and free shipping for the fenders I ordered. I modified them to fit this unique trailer used to carry our Model Submarine on a float for Veterans and Holiday parades etc..
I used angle and made cuts in the fender inner side and then fitted the assembly to the trailer and tack welded the brackets. I then took the fenders off and painted them and finished welding the brackets. After painting and mounting the fenders we won't have spray on the Float or on the road.
Appreciate the heavy gauge metal. The edges were easy to work with.
These fenders are excellent. The stamping and finish is perfect. They arrived at my house well packaged and damage free. I bought these as an alternative to finding NOS fenders for a 1946 Bantam Jeep trailer I am restoring. They are 2 inches wider than the originals but that's a good thing since I can run more modern wheels and tires without them sticking out of the fenders. Otherwise they are exactly the same as the original fenders except stronger due to the lip on the body side of the fenders. I am very pleased with my purchase and the service I received from etrailer.
These fenders are very sturdy. I used them on a trailer I recently built. I mounted with 2 pieces of angle iron front and back. I am very satisfied.
The trailer fender worked great. The oem fender was a little bit shorter so I cut about 6 inches off of the ends and it worked fine to repair a customer's boat trailer after his axle came out from under the trailer.

Are ok but I feel it should be wider for 14” tires. Wished I had ordered 15” fenders for my 14” mounted tires.

Metal was thick enough to weld safely to the trailer frame and thicker angle iron. I did a crappy spray can paint job(just brake cleaned them before painting) and they are still looking great a year later.
