Today we're going to be taking a look at product number CE17720. This is the CE Smith Single Axle Trailer Fender. The curved fender is going to cover one tire on your single axle trailer. Fenders are going act as a splash guard, keeping road debris from hitting other vehicles that are on the road. It's also going to help protect whatever it is you're hauling in your trailer's cargo area. Now this fender is going to made of a sturdy 16 gauge steel construction. Very strong and durable.
It can be primed and then painted to provide resistance to rust and corrosion and also to match your trailer's paint finish. When it comes to the installation you can either weld this on or it can be bolted on. I do want to point out that there's not any pre-drilled bolt holes and that the mounting brackets that you would need for a bolt-on installation are going to be sold separately. You can find those right here at etrailer.com. This product is made right here in the USA. Again, it's designed for single axle trailers with 12 inch diameter wheels.
We're going to take a measurement of the overall length. From edge to edge it's going to give us a measurement of 22 1/2 inches. Overall height, we are looking at about 8 1/2 inches. And then if we take a look at the overall width, edge to edge, that's going to give us a measurement of about 7 inches wide. With this part number you're going to get 1 fender, and the fender itself is going to weigh 4 1/2 pounds. That's going to do it for today's look at product number CE17720..

So I have a small boat trailer and was going to try and save a little cash by ordering just one fender, then cutting it in half to make two. .well I like the looks of the whole fender so I'm ordering another one so it will look correct. Thx.

I was amazed that my trailer fenders arrived so quickly. They were well-packed and arrived without a blemish. I am in the process of converting my small trailer into a custom kayak trailer so I have not yet installed the fenders. This fender is a brute! I was worried that the thickness of the metal wouldn't be enough to be sturdy. Well worry no more! This is just what I was looking for, very strong and rugged. I hated to drill holes in it, for the mounting brackets. The finish is very smooth. It should accept paint, for a great look. The radius of the fender is a perfect match for 12 inch tires. The 7 inch width is not to big and not to small, it is just right. Thank-you etrailer for such a great product!

This fender is a perfect match for the one gone missing. My trailer is whole again.
A year ago I ordered a pair of CE Smith single Axle trailer fenders for my utility trailer, item #CE17720 in order to replace my old ones. These are well constructed sixteen gauge stainless steel fenders, which is the reason I chose them. Beautifully
Good heavy duty brackets worked great with the new fenders. The old fenders vibrated and broke due to metal fatigue but this setup won't have that problem.

Unfortunately, after looking at the description, which stated it was for a 12" tire and then looking at the pictures, I decided to purchase them, but they did not fit. So, I wasted a lot of money with the delivery shipping charge and then they charged even more for the return shipping. Probably will not be attempting to purchase any fenders online in the future.
I was looking for a good, quality, rigid, metal fender. These fenders work great for my use on a custom built waverunner trailer. The price was right and the customer service was outstanding!!! I was totally satisfied. Thanks wtrailer

Great little fender. Changed wheels on a jet ski trailer to 12” wheels, so got these fenders to replace existing fenders. Very clean look, nice metal, perfect thickness for welding them on, nice curved edges. Looks great on my trailer.
Fender was a great substitute to replace my rotted out fender that came with the trailer which is close to 30 years old I ended up cutting the old one off the mounting brackets and modifying the new fender by cutting out some areas to fit in to the mounting bracket came out great so I now have new fenders on an old trailer and I still have to paint them up

Its been a year and these fenders are a heavier gauge of steel than the original ones and will outlast the life of the trailer it was a great investment to keep the trailer in great working condition and to be able to pass safety inspections and be a safe piece of equipment on the road for everyone well worth it and thank you for these great fender replacements e-trailer
