Question:

Having a problem with my Kwikee Electrical Step not working. I have power to the control unit 909510000 but no power to the step motor. My coach is a Country Coach 2006 Inspire. Is this a direct replacement for the control unit if this is the problem?

We have the correct controller but the Kwikee Step Control Step with Override Control Panel # LC381020 would not be the correct controller for you. The correct replacement controller for your 909510000 is the Replacement Control Unit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379146.

If you have verified power is getting to the controller but not making it out of the controller then there is a good chance that the controller is the issue.

I would recommend checking the motor itself by connecting power directly to the motor. If it works properly then you know the motor is still good and can get the new control. If you test the motor directly and it does not work then I would recommend getting the Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145 which includes the motor, gear box and control unit.
