Is There a Fantastic Fan Remote for a Model 7300

Question:

I have a model 7300 Fantastic Fan. Will the new remote Item # FV9068-81 work with my model and more importantly, will I gain reversible operation - blow in/blow out. All the info I see on this site reference a model 7350, which sounds awfully similar to 7300.

I may have a solution for you, but from what I was able to find out there is not a remote available for the model 7300 Fantastic Fans built before January 2014. Additionally, only certain fans would be able to have their motors run in both directions, so it's unlikely that your fan is going to be able to function in that manner unless it already has the ability to do so, so it doesn't sound like the # FV9068-81 is an option.

With that said, you could upgrade your old 7300 with the Fan-Tastic Vent # FV807350, which comes with a remote like the # FV9068-81, functions as both an exhaust fan and circulating fan, and has a remote controlled vent cover. This fan really does it all and would be a great upgrade for your current model 7300. It is designed to fit in standard 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" roof vent openings, so it should fit in your existing space.
