Question:
I have a 2016 , 24foot sunseeker my steps stoped working. I removed the motor and tested it by opening an closing the door. The motor works as it is intended to. So I purchased a new gear box even though the gears look fine I thought the gears were not engaging. Thats not the problem. Can you help trouble shot this. I do have power to the motor. Thanks for you help

I recommend using the 4-Way Tester Plug for Kwikee Electric RV Steps - Packard Connector # LC379416. This 4-way tester plugs into the linkage assembly of your Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly - Double - 32 Series - 24" Wide # LC372261 so you can test all of the step components to make sure they're connected correctly.
If there is not an issue with a bad connection you will probably need a Replacement Control Unit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379146.
The motor may run or seem like it is running fine but it may be weak and not able to perform its job under a load. You can get the Replacement Motor for Kwikee Electric RV Steps - 12V # LC379147 if that is the case.
