Can Furrion RV Air Conditioner Be Used to Replace Carrier

Question:

I read an article on here that says you cannot convert a Carrier AC unit to Furrion is that true? What can I convert a Carrier AC unit too?

The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System - Manual - 13,500 Btu - White # FR52PR will work great to replace a Carrier RV Air Conditioner. There is no plug-in adapter which means you would not be able to use any old controls for the Carrier, but all the Furrion controls are on the distribution box so you're basically just hooking up power. It's a simple swap.

If you're looking to use some existing controls, then you can use the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner part # ACCAR135 which has a plug-in adapter.
