Im going to upgrade from a 15k Furrion to a 18k Furrion will it be a plug and play or is there going to be some other things to change

Hey Lionel. The Furrion 18K Chill Cube systems are brand new and they're not backwards compatible with anything made before 2025 or anything but Chill Cube systems. They've got the new R32 refrigerant which is EPA mandated and more efficient but it won't work with the old R410A units.
The Furrion Chill Cube RV AC w Air Distribution Box, Thermostat item # FR69TD, you were looking at, is a complete system for ducted setups. This includes the 18k AC unit, air distribution box, remote, and thermostat. It will replace whatever Furrion 15k system you have and connect directly to your existing power supply and thermostat wiring. We also have it in black item # FR49TD.
What Furrion 15k system do you currently have and do you have a ducted or ductless setup?
