Question:
Can actuator be up graded to handle disk brakes?
asked by: Lark H
Helpful Expert Reply:
To switch your Titan Model 20 Adjustable-Channel Brake Actuator # T1899100 from drum to disc trailer brakes you will need to change out the Master Cylinder Assembly # T4749501042. This will change your actuator into the # T4749800 that is for disc trailer brakes.
You will need to add a Reverse Lockout Solenoid Valve # T4748800 if you do not already have one to prevent the trailer brakes from locking up when you back up the trailer.
