Question:
Hi eTrailer, Please help me understand the difference between these 2 trailer camera systems. The specs seem almost identical. RVS-770613-213 RVS-770614-213 I want to pull a cargo trailer with a 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab / Short Bed. Just trying to figure out a good camera system I can keep on the truck but move between cargo trailers without too much trouble. Thank you.

The difference between those 2 Rear View Safety Backup Camera System with Trailer Tow Quick Connect Kits is the Kit # RVS-770613-213 comes with 1 camera while the Kit # RVS-770614-213 comes with 2 cameras. They both have the ability to connect up to 3 cameras and they come with the Tow Quick Connect Kit so it's easier to connect the cameras up to your vehicle side with the monitor.
I really like the wired backup camera systems because if something goes wrong it's a lot easier to troubleshoot physical wiring instead of trying to figure out a wireless connection. With these kits you can install 1 camera on the truck and 1 on the trailer so if you're moving between the same 2 trailers you can just add the camera # RVS-771 to your 2nd trailer so you're not having to route that wiring every time you want to have the camera on a different trailer. If you have something else in mind let me know and I can help you get what you need.
If you're looking for a camera kit that can be easily moved from one trailer to the next then you're going to need a wireless camera system like the Swift Hitch Digital Wireless Hitch Aligner System # SH03D which uses cameras that have up to 10-Hr battery power.
