Can you explain how to remove the arm. I can see that the part that holds onto the tube is hinged, but I cant see how to release it so the hinge opens. Thanks.

To open the Replacement Short Arm Assembly # 7525491002 or Replacement Long Arm Assembly # 1500052414 on your Thule Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 there are multiple steps you must follow. There are images on page 7 of the instructions that I have linked below that will help you see how the hinge opens on the arm assemblies.
First you will need to ensure that the lock on the knob is unlocked, then spin the know counterclockwise until it stops. Then you will pinch the jaws together towards the locking knob and it will lower the collar that holds the hinge closed. Then you will be able to open the connector for the upright on the EasyFold rack. Once in place on the upright you will need to ensure the latch is still open before closing the hinge and pressing the latch back over the end of the tube.

Can you please send me the above details on how to remove the Thule long arm please. Ours has rusted and we can't undo it tighten the ratchet knob. Thanks
