Question:

Greetings I recently acquired a used travel trailer and have been doing research to prepare for a cross country summer trip. The most obvious issue with the trailers today are tires and suspension. not failing - seems to be the primary goal. I have already replace the tires and bearings and grease with the highest rated products on the market however, it appears that the leaf spring couplers are also a failure point due to articulation and cheap construction. I am interested in replacing my factory axle kit with a Lippert Axle kit as it appears to improve the ride and distribution of road shock., Can you tell me precisely WHICH MODEL # I need to purchase for my rig ? Including bolts, zerts etc. I have a 2016 Coachman Apex ultra light made by forest rive Model # 269RBSS. Thanks in advance.

The Lippert lift kit part # LC425750 that you referenced is a single axle lift so it would not work on your 2016 Coachman Apex Ultra Light 269RBSS as it is a tandem axle trailer. For a tandem axle lift kit the part number you'd need is the # RR23QX instead. This comes with all of the hardware needed for install.

If you were looking for an upgraded equalizer kit too we had the part # K71-449-00 for a standard equalizer or the part # K71-653-00 which comes with cushioned equalizers. Both of these kits come with bushings, wet bolts, and heavy duty shackle straps as well.
