Towing Capacity and Trailer Hitch for 2005 Toyota Camry
Published 01/27/2022 >
Question:
I need to install buy and install your Draw-Tite 36336 Class II tow hitch on my 05 Camry. The main purpose of this hitch is to haul a trailer that will be transporting trash-bags of leaves and other yard debris to the city dump. Not sure what size utility trailer the hitch/camry would be able to safely and legally haul. Any recommendation? Thx

I looked up the towing capacity of your 2005 Toyota Camry and found it to be 2,000 lbs. So as long as your trailer would weigh less than that when loaded you'd be good with the Draw Tite hitch part # 36336 installed.
Then for trailer wiring you'd also need the part # 118308 which is easiest to install and most reliable.
I attached install videos for both of these for you to check out as well.
