Wiring a trailer usually means cutting and guessing at factory wires, but this harness makes it plug-and-play. The Curt T-Connector uses factory-style plugs that snap right into place to give you a working 4-flat connector without splicing. It’s clean, hidden, and ready to use.
This harness is built with a converter that keeps the vehicle’s wiring safe. It only draws a maximum of 3 amps per circuit on the stop and turn lights and a maximum of 5 amps on the tail and running lights. That means it won’t overload your vehicle circuits or pop fuses—only a wiring short would trip protection.
No extra adapters are needed when your trailer has LED lights. The Curt T-Connector is fully compatible, so you can hook up and go without worrying about flicker or signal issues that happen with older harnesses.

The video was done too fast. It skipped alot like where to put the box. It also failed to warn about the 4 plastic buttons that hold the cover in place. Not easy to line up with the 4 holes on top. If they arent in the cover, it wont line up with the latch. You cant close the trunk. Im still working on it. The tape to hold the box on is too whimpy. Im just letting it sit in the cargo space on the left. Also no sticker on the box. was this a return? Electrical items should not be accepted. Its not fair to the next smuck that buys it.

The instructions had about 90% of the info needed to install. Was a little lacking in describing how to deal with the various clips on interior panels Ann the factory wire harness.

Need to swap out lights to LED to prevent overloading system.
Really an easy installation. Snapped in the connectors and hooked up the trailer and everything worked. Hardest part was getting a small screwdriver to open the existing connector (tabs). That took 2 minutes.
