To use a 36" extension on your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 you will need to replace your receiver for a TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TL74FR. This will allow you to use the 36" TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1536 to tow a trailer up to 6,500lbs with up to 650lbs of tongue weight. If you use a weight distribution hitch you will be able to tow a trailer up to 12,000lbs with up to 1,200lbs of tongue weight.
The TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension # TLE1636 will only work with the Ford 3" receiver.
