To use a 36" extension on your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 you will need to replace your receiver for a TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TL74FR. This will allow you to use the 36" TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension # TLE1536 to tow a trailer up to 6,500lbs with up to 650lbs of tongue weight. If you use a weight distribution hitch you will be able to tow a trailer up to 12,000lbs with up to 1,200lbs of tongue weight.

The TorkLift Cannon Hitch Extension # TLE1636 will only work with the Ford 3" receiver.

The Torklift Superhitch part #TL74FR that fits your 2022 Chevy Silverado 3500 with the factory hitch does require removing the factory hitch to install. The factory bumper does get reinstalled but it does initially come off to install this hitch.…
