Does Installation of Curt Hitch on 2021 Mazda CX-30 Require Removal of the Bottom Bracket Attachment

Question:

I just wanted to find out if that plastic piece behind the bumper needs to be removed to install the Curt like the install video for the Draw-Tite shows. Please let me know. According to the Curt video it looks like all you have to do is lower the exhaust, enlarge that one hole on each side, fish the bolts through, then wiggle the hitch between the exhaust and the bumper then line up the holes in the hitch with the bolts and tighten, reattach the exhaust and youre pretty much done. Thanks

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C49CR does not require the removal of the bottom bracket attachment during installation. Your description of the installation is also accurate.
