Should I Upgrade the Bumper Hitch On a 2019 Ram 1500

Question:
I have a 2019 dodge ram1500 classic with V8 hemi. 4x4. It came stock with a bumper hitch and wiring. I want to tow approximately 10,000 lbs. tiny home! Should I install a larger and stronger hitch?

Yes, installing a frame mounted trailer hitch on a 2019 Ram 1500 is much better for heavy duty towing than the standard bumper mounted trailer hitch as it not only allows for a higher capacity but it also allows for more leveling towing. The correct trailer hitch for models with the factory tow bumper is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13419 which bolts to the frame brace under the bumper.
