Question:

We have a Thule 996 expressway bike carrier that has a couple of broken rubber straps… the replacement part number for the whole cradle listed in the manual is 753-2757-02. I found this article but not sure it applies to my model carrier. I am interested in either a replacement strap or the entire cradle. Can you point me in the right direction?

Since the Thule T3 cradle assembly has been discontinued, your only option is to replace the cradle as well. For your Thule Expressway 996, is the Replacement Rubber Strap for Thule T2 Bike Carrier Cradles # 753-3535, with its corresponding cradle # 853-5829.
