Like all weight distribution systems the Curt Trunnion System # C24UR will allow you to reverse the trailer as long as you basically are backing up mostly straight. Basically you can turn in reverse just as tight as you could turn going forward without issue.

Yes the Curt weight distribution system part #C24UR that you referenced is compatible with the hitch of your 2018 Toyota Tundra SR5.
