How to Determine Which 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness Is Needed On a 2022 Acura RDX?

Question:

I see that there are multiple wiring harnesses available for my 2022 Acura RDX. How do I find out if I have the 12-Volt Power Provision?

To determine if your 2022 Acura RDX has the 12-Volt Power Provision you will need to access the 8-pin connector inside your Acura to see if it has 2 red wires in the factory side of the connector. This connector is located on the drivers side above the rear portion on the rear fender(see image).

If you only have one wire you do not have the provision and will need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118804.

If your connector has 2 red wires you do have the provision and will need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118800.
