Need to know what the formula is to determine the correct hitch height setting in the truck versus the correct setting for kingpin on trailer to achieve the 6inch clearance from bedrails in truck for level towing. Have the 30K Curt puck system hitch and installed into our 2022 GMC Sierra 3500HD Dually

To determine the correct height for your Curt A30 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16070 installed on your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500HD, you'll want to measure from the top of your truck bed floor to the ground, then measure from the plate of the pin box on the trailer down to the ground when the trailer is on level ground. The difference of those two measurements is the correct hitch height you're going to need.
